My last mat felt like a slip-and-slide in hot yoga, but this one's PU surface keeps my hands and feet planted even when I'm dripping sweat. The natural rubber base also stays put on hardwood floors without curling at the edges.

The 4mm thickness is perfect for my knees on hardwood floors, and the PU surface really does keep me from sliding even when my palms get sweaty. I've had cheaper mats that felt like a slip-n-slide, but this one stays put during downward dog.
